Ms. Sara H. VogtLowell serves as Chief Legal Officer of the Company. Ms. VogtLowell has served as our Chief Legal Officer since October 2012. From 2011 until our internalization of senior management in June 2013, Ms. VogtLowell held the same position with the Advisor. From March 2006 through April 2013, she served as General Counsel for Public Storage Canada and ACE. Ms. VogtLowell began her legal career at the law firm of Latham Watkins LLP in 2002 as a member of the finance department where she specialized in real estate transactions. There, she represented lenders, residential and commercial developers, landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers and owners of commercial, industrial, residential and other real estate projects, with specific experience in multisite, multistate property portfolios. Ms. VogtLowell earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley since 2012.
