Dipl.Ing. Gerhard Falch was Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of AMAG Austria Metall AG since April 10, 2014. He is Member of the Committee for Urgent Matters at the Company. He previously was Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer at the Company from September 2007 until 2014. He occupied various management positions in Voest Alpine companies and VA Technologie AG. Following the takeover of VA Technologie AG by Siemens in 2004, Mr. Falch was a member of the Siemens AG Austria board. Between 2002 and 2007, he was Deputy Chief Executive Officer of VA Technologie AG. From 1999 until 2006, he was Chief Executive Officer of VOEST Alpine Industrieanlagenbau GmbH. From 1994 until 1999, he served as Member of the Board of ELIN EBG. He was Managing Director of John Brown Engineers Constructors in Germany and Austria from 1990 to 1994. Mr. Falch studied at Technische Universitaet Graz and graduated as Dipl. Ing. in Process Engineering and Business Administration in 1976. since 2014.
