He has 25 years experience in resource exploration and project management, including precious and base metals, geothermal power and unconventional oil gas, and is a qualified person as defined in NI 43101. Mr. Thompson was the president and CEO of Sierra Geothermal Power Corporationration until September 3, 2010 when it was acquired by Ram Power. In 2001, Mr. Thompson founded Cayley Geothermal Corporationration, which was acquired by Sierra Geothermal in 2006. Mr. Thompson has previously held positions with EnCana Corporationrationration, Newmont Alaska, Novagold Resources and CBM Solutions. Mr. Thompson is credited with the 1988 discovery of the TAG goldsilver prospect which he sold to Taku Gold Corporationration Mr. Thompson holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of British Columbia. since 2011.
