Dr. Dominic J. Monetta, is an Independent Director of Hudson Technologies, Inc. Dr. Monetta was a Director of the Company since April 1996. Dr. Monetta has since August 1993, been the President of Resource Alternatives, Inc., a corporate development firm concentrating on resolving technically oriented managerial issues facing chief executive officers and their senior executives. From December 1991 to May 1993, Dr. Monetta served as the Director of Defense Research and Engineering for Research and Advanced Technology, United States Department of Defense. From June 1989 to December 1991, Dr. Monetta served as the Director of the Office of New Production Reactors, United States Department of Energy. Dr. Monettas qualifications to sit on our board include his chemical engineering and other management experience obtained as a senior executive for the US Departments of Energy and Defense. Dr. Monetta has 19 years of experience in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry by virtue of his service on our Board and includes his membership on the Companys Audit Committee for the last 8 years and Occupational, Safety and Environmental Protection Committee for the last 14 years. since 1996.

Elected by the shareholders, the HUDSON TECHNOLOGY's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: HUDSON TECHNOLOGY inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of HUDSON. The board's role is to monitor HUDSON TECHNOLOGY's management team and ensure that shareholders' interests are well served.
