Pittman is Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and Director of iHeartCommunications on May 17, 2013, of Iheartmedia, Inc., He also was appointed as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of managers of iHeartMedia Capital I, LLC on April 26, 2013, and as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CCOH on March 2, 2015. Prior to October 2, 2011, Mr. Pittman served as Chairman of Media and Entertainment Platforms for us and iHeartCommunications since November 2010. He was a member of, and an investor in, Pilot Group, a private equity investment company, since April 2003. Mr. Pittman was formerly Chief Operating Officer of AOL Time Warner, Inc. from May 2002 to July 2002. He also served as CoChief Operating Officer of AOL Time Warner, Inc. from January 2001 to May 2002, and earlier, as President and Chief Operating Officer of America Online, Inc. from February 1998 to January 2001. Mr. Pittman serves on the boards of numerous charitable organizations, including the Alliance for Lupus Research, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation and the Robin Hood Foundation, where he has served as past Chairman. Mr. Pittman was selected to serve as a member of our Board because of his service as our Chief Executive Officer, as well as his extensive media experience gained through the course of his career. since 2013.
