Mr. W. Gerald Newmin is Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, Secretary of MultiCell Technologies Inc. Mr. Newmin joined the Company as a director in June 1995. Mr. Newmin served as Chief Executive Officer of MultiCell from June 1995 to May 2006, and was appointed to serve again as Chief Executive Officer on December 21, 2007. Mr. Newmin is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, Secretary and a director of Xenogenics, a partiallyowned subsidiary of MultiCell and Chief Executive Officer, Secretary and a director of MCTI, a partiallyowned subsidiary of MultiCell. He has managed New York Stock Exchange and American Stock Exchange Fortune 500 companies. He was President of HealthAmerica Corporationrationration, then the nations largest publiclyheld HMO management company. He was Chief Executive Officer and President of The International Silver Company, a diversified multinational manufacturing company that he restructured. He was Chief Operating Officer of numerous Whittaker Corporation operating units, including Production Steel Company, Whittaker Textiles, Bertram Yacht, Trojan Yacht, Columbia Yacht, Narmco Materials and Anson Automotive. He was instrumental in Whittakers entry into the U.S. and international health care markets. He was Western Regional Vice President of American Medicorp, Inc, where he managed 23 acute care hospitals in the Western United States. He retired as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SYS Technologies, Inc., a highgrowth defense technology company in 2003 since 2007.
