Mr. Barry D. Zyskind is NonExecutive Chairman of the Board of Maiden Holdings Ltd., since June 2007. He has served as nonexecutive Chairman of our Board of Directors since June 2007 and is a Founding Shareholder of the Company. Since 1998, Mr. Zyskind has served as the President, Chief Executive Officer and director of AmTrust Financial Services, Inc., a publiclytraded multinational property and casualty insurer specializing in commercial lines coverage for small to midsize businesses, and Chairman since 2016. Mr. Zyskind is also a director of several of AmTrust wholly owned subsidiaries. Prior to joining AmTrust, Mr. Zyskind was an investment banker at Janney Montgomery Scott LLC in New York. Mr. Zyskind holds an M.B.A. from New York University Stern School of Business. Mr. Zyskind is the soninlaw of Leah Karfunkel, who is a major shareholder of the Company and serves on the board of directors of AmTrust and National General Holding Corporation, a holding company of the former GMAC Insurance personal lines companies. Mr. Zyskind was a director of NGHC since 2013 and its nonexecutive chairman of the board of directors since the death of Michael Karfunkel in 2016. since 2007.

Maiden Holdings Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the Maiden Holdings' board of directors comprises two types of representatives: Maiden Holdings inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of Maiden.
