Mr. JeanFrancois Palus serves as Group Managing Director, Member of the Executive Committee, NonIndependent Director of Kering S.A. He also is Member of the Sustainability Committee of the Company. A graduate of HEC Hautes Etudes Commerciales, Jean Francois Palus began his career in 1985 with Arthur Andersen where he carried out audit and financial advisory duties. Before joining Artemis in 2001 as corporate officer and Director, he spent ten years within the PPR group, holding successively the positions of Deputy Chief Financial Officer of the wood industry branch of Pinault SA, Group Financial Control Director, then store manager at Fnac and lastly Corporationrationrate Secretary and member of the Executive Board of Conforama . Since March 2005, Jean Francois Palus was in charge of mergers and acquisitions at PPR, reporting to Francois Henri Pinault, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Group. He was Chief Financial Officer of the PPR group from December 2005 to January 2012 and he was Group Managing Director of PPR since February 26, 2008. Following the Combined General Meeting on April 27, 2017, the Board of Directors renewed his term of office as Group Managing Director for a term of four years. Jean Francois Palus has headed Kerings Sport Lifestyle activities since October 2012. He has also held the position of Chairman of the Administrative Board of PUMA SE since December 1, 2012. Jean Francois Palus was a Director of Kering since May 7, 2009. His term of office was renewed by the Combined General Meeting on April 27, 2017 and will expire at the end of the Annual General Meeting called to approve the financial statements for the year ending December 31, 2020.
