He began his professional career in 1981 at SINTEL, a subsidiary of Telefonica, until he joined Cadena COPE in 1983, where he held the positions of Finance Officer and Chief Executive Officer. In 1986 he joined Cadena SER as Finance Officer, and from 1989 to 1990 he held the position of Chief Executive Officer of that company. He also began to work at CANAL as Chief Executive Officer. In 1992 he joined Cadena COPE as General Manager until 1997. He was also appointed Assistant General Manager of TELEMADRID, until he became, in April 1998, General Manager of Ente Publico Radio Television Madrid, a position he held until February 2001, when he joined ONO as General Manager of the company. In June 2003 he joined the managerial team of the Antena 3 Group as General Manager in charge of Management issues. In July 2008, he was appointed General Manager of the Group, the position he currently holds. He holds a degree in Economics from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. since 2008.
