Mr. John W. Dietrich is appointed as President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of the Company, effective January 1, 2020. He is President, Chief Operating Officer of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings Inc. In addition, he was named President and Chief Operating Officer of Atlas Air, Inc. effective October 2014. Prior to September 2006, Mr. Dietrich was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Human Resources Officer from February 2004. He was named Vice President and General Counsel in March 2003, where he was also responsible for our Human Resources and Corporationrationrate Communications functions. Mr. Dietrich joined Atlas in 1999 as Associate General Counsel. Prior to joining us, he was a litigation attorney at United Airlines from 1992 to 1999, where he provided legal counsel to all levels of management, particularly on employment and commercial litigation issues. He also serves as a director on the National Defense Transportation Association and the National Air Courier Association since 2019.
