Dr. Robert J. Routs serves as Independent Director of Aecom . He was appointed to our Board in December 2010. From 2004 until his retirement in 2008, Dr. Routs served as Executive Director, U.S. downstream operations, of Royal Dutch Shell plc, part of a global group of energy and petrochemical companies, and as Chairman of Shell Canada. Prior to that time, he served as Group Managing Director for oil products and refining from 2003 to 2004 President and Chief Executive, Shell Oil Products U.S. from 2002 to 2003 and President and Chief Executive, Equilon Enterprises LLC, a ShellTexaco joint venture, from 2000 to 2002. Dr. Routs began his career at Royal Dutch Shell in 1971, serving in regional manufacturing and global general manager positions throughout his tenure. Dr. Routs currently serves as a director at AP MollerMaersk, ATCO Ltd. and Royal DSM N.V. Dr. Routs previously served as a director of Royal KPN until 2014 and AEGON N.V. until 2018 since 2010.
