Prior to that, he was Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Group Management Board, as well as Member of the Management Committee of ArcelorMittal S.A. from October 30, 2006. Prior to his current role, he was Chief Financial Officer of ArcelorMittal with responsibility for Flat Carbon Europe, investor relations and communications. He joined Mittal Steel in 1997, and was president and Chief Financial Officer of Mittal Steel Company from 2004 to 2006 since 2018.
