Ganoza is a third generation miner from a Peruvian that has owned and operated underground gold, silver and base metal mines. From 1997 to 2005, he has worked as a consultant in Panama and Peru, in the mining and aquaculture sectors. Since his graduation in 1973 through to 1988, he worked for Minera Pachapaqui, a mining business where he served as General Manager. In 1989 he developed the first mining operation in Panama, of which he was in charge until 1996. He also worked as a consultant in Panama and Peru, in the mining and aquaculture sectors, and from 2005 to 2011, he was appointed General Manager for Minera Bateas SAC. From 2008 until March 2011, he was VP of Operations for Fortuna Silver Mines Inc.
