Mr. Wim Buyens was CEO New Cinema Joint Venture at BARCO N.V. since January 1, 2018. Prior to that, he served as Senior VP General Manager Entertainment of Barco N.V. He started at Barco in November 2007 as Vice President Digital Cinema within the Media Entertainment Division. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Buyens worked at Bruel Kjaer in Denmark, where he held several management positions as Marketing Director, European Sales Director and Division Director Aerospace and Defense. He hasalso been appointed in 2017 as chairman of the board of governors of the Advanced Imaging Society in Hollywood. Mr. Buyens holds a degree in Engineering and obtained executive management experience at Stanford University and IMD in Lausanne. since 2018.
