Mr. Darryl J. Fess is President and Chief Executive Officer of Brookline Bank of the Company. Mr. Fess was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Brookline Bank on September 21, 2016. Mr. Fess joined Brookline Bank in May 2010 as its Vice President, Commercial Real Estate Lending and was promoted to Senior Vice President Division Executive, in September 2011 and Executive Vice President in December 2015. From 1998 until 2010, Mr. Fess was employed by Wainwright Bank Trust Company in a series of positions advancing to Senior Vice President in Commercial Real Estate Lending. During his time at Wainwright, Mr. Fess served as a member of the management committee responsible for strategic planning, new business development, and sales process improvements. Mr. Fess holds a Masters of Business Administration from Providence College in Providence, RI, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Boston University. Mr. Fess is also a graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking since 2016.
