Jews began his career in the healthcare industry at the University of Maryland Medical System in 1975, ascending to planning director by 1979. Jews currently serves on the board of directors of several major public corporations. He is a director of CACI International Inc. CalAtlantic Group and KCI Technologies Inc. His prior directorships include SecureNet Camden Partners Ecolab Inc. MBNA MuniMae Inc. Maryland National BankNations Bank Crown Central Petroleum and Fortress International Group Inc. Jews also served as a governor with the Federal Reserve Bank. since 2006.
