Dr. Allan Yap is Executive Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, Director of the company since December 1, 2004. He obtained the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws and has over 29 years experience in finance, investment and banking. Dr. Yap is the chairman of Hanny, a publicly listed company in Hong Kong. He is also the chairman and chief executive officer of Burcon NutraScience Corporationrationration, a company whose shares are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange in Canada, NASDAQ Stock Exchange in the United States and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in Germany. Dr. Yap is an executive chairman of PSC Corporation Limited, Intraco Limited and Tat Seng Packaging Group Limited, all of which are publicly listed companies in Singapore. He is also the chairman of MRI Holdings Limited. The recommendation by the directors of MRI Holdings Limited to return its assets to its shareholders by way of members voluntary liquidation was approved by its shareholders on April 29, 2010. Dr. Yap had been an executive director of Rosedale, a public listed company in Hong Kong, and retired on May 25, 2011. He had also been an executive director of China Strategic Holdings Limited, Big Media Group Limited and See Corporation Limited, all are publicly listed companies in Hong Kong, and resigned on June 16, 2006, July 20, 2009 and June 13, 2011, respectively. Dr. Yap was appointed as the chairman and chief executive officer of the Company on December 1, 2004. since 2004.
