Ms. Gail J. McGovern is an Independent Director of DTE Energy Co. She is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of the American Red Cross and has served in that position since 2008. From 2002 to 2008, she was a Professor at Harvard Business School. Ms. McGovern also served as President of Fidelity Personal Investments, a unit of Fidelity Investments, from 1998 to 2002 and Executive Vice President of Consumer Markets, a division of ATT, from 1997 to 1998. She received her B.A. in quantitative sciences from Johns Hopkins University and her M.B.A. from Columbia University. In addition to her service on the Companys Board of Directors, Ms. McGovern is a trustee of Johns Hopkins Medicine Board and a director of The Weather Company and PayPal Holdings, Inc. She also served as a director of Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. until 2010. Ms. McGoverns qualifications to sit on our Board include her experience as a chief executive officer and extensive executive experience in marketing and sales, customer relations, corporate finance, strategic planning and government relations and knowledge of regulatory matters. She also has served as a director of other publicly traded corporations and a trustee of a major research university. since 2003.
