Mr. Tao Huang is Independent Director of Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. He was a director of the Company since November 2015. Mr. Huang is a founder and managing partner of Range Light, LLC, an investment firm. He was previously the chief operating officer of Morningstar, Inc., a leading independent provider of investment research, from October 2000 until his retirement in December 2010. Mr. Huang spent almost 20 years with Morningstar, taking on increasing levels of responsibility from his start as an entry level technical programmer. He was named director of technology in 1992 and chief technology officer in 1996 he started Morningstars international operation in 1998, and was promoted to chief operating officer in October 2000 since 2019.
