Receiving a degree in jurisprudence in Palermo in 1993, he began practicing law in 1996. In 1998, he received a Ph.D. in business law, with a specialization in corporate mergers. He taught Business Relations at the University of Palermo from 1999 to 2004. He is a pilot, a volunteer rescue worker for the Red Cross, a musician and an Ironman longdistance triathlete. since 2016.
