Mr. Jerry G. Rutledge is an Independent Trustee of Clough Global Allocation Fund. Mr. Rutledge is the President and owner of Rutledges Inc., a retail clothing business that has operated for over 40 years. As a recognized community leader in the state of Colorado, Mr. Rutledge was elected as a Regent at the University of Colorado in 1994 and retired in 2007. In addition, Mr. Rutledge is currently serving as a Director of the University of Colorado Hospital and is a Trustee of Financial Investors Trust, an openend investment company, and the Principal Real Estate Income Fund, a closedend investment company. Mr. Rutledge also served as a Director of the American National Bank until 2009. Mr. Rutledge has served as Trustee since each Funds inception. Mr. Rutledge has also served as a member of the Audit Committee and Nominating Committee during his tenure as a Trustee for each Fund.

Clough Global Allocation Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the Clough Global's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: Clough Global inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of Clough. The board's role is to monitor Clough Global's management team and ensure that shareholders' interests are well served. Clough Global's inside directors are responsible for reviewing and approving budgets prepared by upper management to implement core corporate initiatives and projects. On the other hand, Clough Global's outside directors are responsible for providing unbiased perspectives on the board's policies.
