From 2005 until March 2008, Mr. Lemaitre was a Senior Vice President at Medtronic, where he led the companys strategic planning and corporate development. Prior to joining Medtronic, Mr. Lemaitre spent 28 years as an investment analyst in the medical device field. This included 18 years with SG Cowen, where he was a managing director and led the healthcare research team, and six years with Merrill Lynch. Mr. Lemaitre holds a B.A. in Economics from Bethany College and an M.B.A. from Bowling Green State University. Mr. Lemaitre also currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Endologix, Inc. . Mr. Lemaitres extensive business, managerial, executive and leadership experience in the medical device industry, including having served as chief executive officer of a medical device company and as senior vice president of one of the worlds leading medical technology companies, as well as his current experience as a director of a publiclytraded medical device company bring to our Board of Directors a meaningful understanding of our business and industry and valuable skills related to strategic planning for a public company. These skills and experience, as well as his financial and accounting skills and expertise, qualify him to serve as one of our directors and as an audit committee financial expert on our Audit Committee. since 2011.
