He then articled with Price Waterhouse in Perth, Western Australia for admission to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. He thereafter was actively involved in business development and financial management in various activities in the oil and gas, manufacturing and services sectors for a family owned group of companies and in the last decade was primarily responsible for the promotion and development of two ports in West Malaysia and held the position of Chief Executive Officer Chairman of Integrax Berhad until 2011. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. since 2008.
