Mr. Brendan Horan is Executive Vice President, Managing Director MiX Africa of Mix Telematics. since June 2014 when our fleet and consumer businesses in Africa were merged into one business. Brendan served as the Executive responsible for Consumer Solutions since January 2012 June 2014. From September 2008 until December 2011, he was the General ManagerSales and Marketing of MiX Telematics Africa, which covered both fleet and consumer business development for the whole of Africa. Previously, Brendan served as our General ManagerRSA and Africa Fleet from March 2007 until September 2008. He is a registered accountant with previous accounting experience in South Africa and the United Kingdom. since 2014.

Brendan qualified as a CA after completing articles at KPMG in 2001. He worked in London for three years for Intecbilling. He returned to South Africa to join the Control Instruments Group as financial director of its automotive aftermarket division. In 2007 he joined CI OmniBridge as the general manager of the RSA Sales division in Johannesburg. As the business evolved and was then acquired by TeliMatrix in early 2008, Brendan’s roles and responsibilities were largely sales and business development focused where he contributed to exponential business growth in multiple and diverse channels on the African continent. He has recently been tasked with MiX’s global consumer business.
