Ms. Meredith W. Mendes is Independent Director of the Company. She has served on our board of directors since March 2018. Since 2005, Ms. Mendes has served as executive director and chief operating officer of Jenner Block LLP, a law firm with more than 500 attorneys with offices across the United States and in London, where she is responsible for firmwide operations relating to finance, facilities and real estate, technology, human resources and other support functions. From 1999 to 2005, Ms. Mendes served as executive vice president and worldwide chief financial officer of Daniel J. Edelman, Inc., a global communications marketing firm. Since 2016, Ms. Mendes has served as a director and on the audit and nominating and corporate governance committees of Inland Residential Properties Trust, Inc., a real estate investment trust sponsored by Inland Real Estate Investment Corporationrationration, which acquires and manages a portfolio of multifamily properties located primarily in the top 100 U.S. metropolitan statistical areas. From 2014 to 2016, Ms. Mendes served as a director and on the audit and nominating and corporate governance committees of IRC Retail Centers LLC, a national commercial real estate and finance company . From 1999 to 2016, Ms. Mendes served as director and on the financial review and compensation committees of CLine Products, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of plastic storage, identification and organization items for the office products industry. Ms. Mendes has a law degree from Harvard Law School, a Masters of Business Administration degree with a finance concentration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an AB from Brown University since 2018.
