Ms. Judith M. Stockdale is Independent Director of Nuveen Municipal Income Fund Inc., since 1997. Ms. Stockdale retired at the end of 2012 as Executive Director of the Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Foundation, a private foundation working in land conservation and artistic vitality in the Chicago region and the Low country of South Carolina. She is currently a board member of the U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities and rejoined the board of the Land Trust Alliance in June 2013. Her previous positions include Executive Director of the Great Lakes Protection Fund, Executive Director of Openlands and Senior Staff Associate at the Chicago Community Trust. She has served on the Boards of the National Zoological Park, the Governors Science Advisory Council and the Nancy Ryerson Ranney Leadership Grants Program. She was a member of the Boards of Brushwood Center and the Donors Forum
