Mr. Michael J. Covey is Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of the Company. He was a director since February 2006. Our Chief Executive Officer since February 2006 and President and Chief Executive Officer from 2006 to 2013, Mr. Covey was Chairman since January 1, 2007. Prior to joining PotlatchDeltic in February 2006, he was employed for 23 years by Plum Creek Timber Company, Inc., a REIT formerly traded on NYSE until it was acquired by Weyerhaeuser Company in February 2016, where he served as Executive Vice President from August 2001 until shortly before joining PotlatchDeltic in February 2006. Mr. Covey has served as a director of Esterline Corporationrationration, a publicly traded aerospace manufacturing company since 2017. As our Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Covey has a deep understanding of all aspects of our business and operations since 2013.
