Mr. Scott Mitchell Rosenberg is Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of Platinum Studios, Inc., since September 15, 2006. Mr. Rosenberg served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Platinum Studios, LLC, predecessor, since November 1996. Mr. Rosenberg established Platinum Studios, LLC in 1996 following a career in the comic book industry. As founder and head of Malibu Comics, Rosenberg produced the Men In Black comic book, which he took to Sony to become a billiondollar film franchise. At Malibu, Rosenberg developed agrassroots marketing approach, reaching out directly to fans, retailers, and press to allow Malibu to be distributed alongside top industry players at a fraction of what the companies spentnotably, in the preInternet age, without the opportunities and advantages provided by the web. Malibus marketing and ability to create and develop new characters and new ideas led to a bidding war to acquire the company, and in 1994 Malibu was bought by Marvel Comics. Mr. Rosenberg holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Denver. since 2006.
