Mr. George Putnam, III, is an Independent Trustee of Putnam Master Intermediate Income Trust. Mr. Putnam is Chairman of New Generation Research, Inc., and President of New Generation Advisors, LLC . Mr. Putnam founded the New Generation companies in 1986. Mr. Putnam is a Director of The Boston Family Office, LLC . He is a Trustee of Epiphany School and a Trustee of the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, Massachusetts. Prior to June 2007, Mr. Putnam was President of the Putnam funds. Until 2010, he was a Trustee of St. Marks School, until 2006, he was a Trustee of Shore Country Day School, and until 2002, he was a Trustee of the Sea Education Association. Mr. Putnam previously worked as an attorney with the law firm of Dechert LLP in Philadelphia. He is a graduate of Harvard College, Harvard Business School, and Harvard Law School.
