Mr. Peter A. Marino serves as Independent Director of QTS Realty Trust, Inc. Mr. Marino serves as the chair of our Nominating and Corporationrationrate Governance Committee and is a member of our Compensation Committee. Mr. Marino has over 49 years of executive experience. Mr. Marino was a private consultant for government and industry on defense and intelligence issues since 1999. From 1996 to 1999, Mr. Marino was the president and chief executive officer of Firearms Training Systems, Inc., a provider of software and hardware simulation training systems for military, law enforcement and security forces. From 1991 to 1996, Mr. Marino served as senior vice president of ESystems Corporationrationration, a computing and software company which was acquired by Raytheon in 1995. Mr. Marino previously served as president and chief operating officer of Fairchild Industries, an aerospace and defense company, from 1988 to 1990 and was president and chief operating officer of Lockheed Electronics Company, Inc., a defense electronics company, from 1986 to 1988. From 1970 to 1986, he served in numerous capacities at the Central Intelligence Agency, including director of technical service and deputy director for the Office of Research and Development. He also attended the Senior Executive Fellows program at Harvard University. Mr. Marino previously served as a director of Argon ST, Inc., a former public company, from 2004 to 2010 and as a director of Engility Corporation from 2015 to 2019 since 2013.
