Mr. Ronald C. Whitaker is an Independent Director of Sturm, Ruger and Company, Inc., since June 1, 2006. Mr. Whitaker served as the President and CEO of Hyco International from 2003 and as a member of its Board from 2001 until his retirement in 2011. In 2013, he joined the Board of Payne Dolan, a family owned road construction business based in Wisconsin, and he currently serves as a member of its Compensation Committee and is the Chairman of the Special Litigation Committee. Mr. Whitaker was a Board member of Global Brass and Copper Company, Inc. since 2011, and serves as the Chairman of its Compensation Committee and as a member of its Audit and Nominating and Corporationrationrate Governance Committees. Mr. Whitaker was a Board member of Pangborn Corporation from 2006 to 2015 and served as the chair of its Compensation Committee. He was a member of the Board and the Executive Committee of Strategic Distribution, Inc., and was its President and CEO from 2000 to 2003. Mr. Whitaker was the President and CEO of Johnson Outdoors from 1996 to 2000, and CEO, President and Chairman of the Board of Colts Manufacturing Co., Inc. from 1992 to 1995. He is a former Board member of Firearms Training Systems, Group Decco, Michigan Seamless Tube, Precision Navigation, Inc., Weirton Steel Corporation and Code Alarm, and a former Trustee of the College of Wooster since 2019.
