Mr. Gaetano Mazzitelli serves as Executive Vice President of Regulatory Affairs of Snam S.p.A. since December 2011. He graduate in Mechanical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano, he also achieved a Master on Business for Energy and environment at the Eni School for higher studies Enrico Mattei. He began his career in Snam in 1995 and in 2000 he was appointed as Project Evaluation Manager. He took part to different national and international acquisition projects as well as to the unbundling of transmission and regasification activities. In 2001 he was appointed as Manager for Project Evaluation and Tariffs at Snam Rete Gas, being in charge for ensuring the investment planning and defining tariff proposals related to regulated services. In this context, he took part to the IPO of the company, assessing in particular the areas of value generation in the new regulatory framework. In 2006 he was appointed as Business Development Manager at Snam Rete Gas, in charge for ensuring the definition of tariffs and network code proposals, the gas demand forecast as well as the monitoring of market and regulation in order to identify development opportunities. In this context, he participated to the Stogit and Italgas acquisition project and to their subsequent integration. In 2010 he took charge of the Regulation and in 2011 he was appointed as Executive Vice President of Regulatory Affairs of Snam. Currently he is Board Director in TAG Gmbh and in Interconnector UK Ltd . Since March 2017 he was Chair of the Shareholder Meeting of PRISMA European Capacity Platform GmbH. He has also a long experience in the activities of Associative Bodies in the natural gas sector. since 2011.
