Mr. Kenneth R. Meyers is President and Chief Executive Officer of United States Cellular Corporationrationration, a subsidiary of the Company and Director of Telephone and Data Systems Inc. Mr. Meyers brings to the TDS board of directors substantial experience, expertise and qualifications with respect to TDS and its subsidiaries and the industries in which they operate as a result of his background as a director of TDS and U.S. Cellular for many years, as President and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Cellular since 2013, as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of TDS between 2007 and 2013, and as a result of his many years in other positions at U.S. Cellular. He also brings substantial experience, expertise and qualifications in TDS businesses and in management, finance and accounting as a result of such background. As the President and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Cellular, TDS largest business unit, the board of directors considers it appropriate and beneficial for Mr. Meyers to serve on the TDS board to provide the board with his views on strategy and operations of U.S. Cellular since 2013.

Telephone Data Systems Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the Telephone Data's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: Telephone Data inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of Telephone.
