Mr. Carl Erik Steen was Member of the Board of Directors of Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA since 2011. Mr. Steen started his career as Consultant for Shipping Research Services, where he worked from 1975 until 1977. Between 1977 and 1978, he served as Chief Executive Officer, Wallpaper Production for AS Tento, and from 1978 to 1983 he was Director in I.M. Skaugen AS. In the years 1983 1987 he served as Managing Director for Christiania Bank Luxembourg and as First Vice President, Shipping Department in Christiania Bank and Kreditkasse ASA between 1987 and 1989. He later became Senior Vice President in the same company and held the post from 1989 to 1992, and then moved to the position of Executive Vice President, ShippingTransport between 1992 and 2000. Between 2000 and 2001 he served as Executive Vice President, Christiana International, Christiania Bank and Kreditkasse ASA. In 2001 Mr. Steen joined Nordea bank as Head of Shipping, Offshore and Oil Services Division and in 2007 he became Head of Shipping, Oil Services International Division in the same company since 2011.
