Dr. Thomas S. Lam, M.D. is Chief Executive Officer, Director of Apollo Medical Holdings, Inc. Dr. Lam was a member of the Board since January 2016 and has served as our CoChief Executive Officer from December 2017 to March 2019. Dr. Lam was our Chief Executive Officer since April 2019 to present. Dr. Lam has also served as the Chief Executive Officer of NMM since January 2006 and was a member of its board of directors since 2005. Dr. Lam was the Chairman of the board of directors of APC from January 2006 to September 2014. He was APCs Chief Executive Officer since January 2006 and APCs Chief Financial Officer since October 2014. Dr. Lam was the recipient of the Corporationrationrate Citizens of the Year Award from the Board of Directors of East Los Angeles College Foundation in April 2014. In February 2015, the YMCA Board of Directors of West San Gabriel Valley honored Dr. Lam as the recipient of Heart of the Community Award. Dr. Lam received his medical training from the New York Medical College and gastroenterology training from the Georgetown University. since 2019.

Elected by the shareholders, the Apollo Medical's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: Apollo Medical inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of Apollo. The board's role is to monitor Apollo Medical's management team and ensure that shareholders' interests are well served. Apollo Medical's inside directors are responsible for reviewing and approving budgets prepared by upper management to implement core corporate initiatives and projects.
