Mr. Niblock became a member of the board of directors of Lowes when he was named Chairman and CEOelect in 2004. Mr. Niblock joined Lowes in 1993, and, during his career with the company, he also served as Vice President and Treasurer, Senior Vice President, and Executive Vice President and CFO. Before joining Lowes, Mr. Niblock had a nineyear career with accounting firm Ernst Young. Mr. Niblock served as a member of the board of directors of the Retail Industry Leaders Association from 2003 until 2018 and served as its Secretary from 2012 until 2018. He previously served as its chairman in 2008 and 2009 and as vice chairman in 2006 and 2007. since 2019.
