Dr. Douglas J. McBride is an Independent Director of Glacier Bancorp, Inc. Dr. McBride was an optometrist in Billings for over 30 years. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Linfield College and his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry in 1978. Dr. McBride is a former President of the Montana State Board of Examiners for Optometry, of which he was a member since 1993. He is also the former Chairman of the Advisory Board for TLC Laser Eye Center in Billings and is the former administrator for the State of Montana for Vision Source, an optometric franchise. He is a past President of the Montana Optometric Association since 2006.
