Mr. Ian Horton is General Manager Mount Coolon Gold Project of the company. He is an experienced Mining Engineer with more than 30 years in senior operations management roles in Australia and overseas, and is Principal of Linque Consulting, specialising in operational improvement programmes for a number of mining companies around Australasia. Prior to that he spent considerable years at Australian mining services groups including Macmahon, Thiess, HWE and Eltin in senior roles including managing contract mining projects across Australia. These roles included new mine start ups in various commodities including gold, coal and iron ore. Mr Horton has previously worked for, and consulted to, a number of large mining companies including BHP Billiton, Newcrest Mining, Dominion Gold, Acacia Resources, Carpentaria Gold and MIM. His qualifications include an honours degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Queensland and an MBA from Deakin University. He is the holder of First Class Mine Manager Certificates of Competency for WA, NT and QLD. since 2017.
