Dr. Tomaso Tommasi di Vignano serves as Executive Chairman of the Board of Hera S.p.A. since 2005. Moreover he serves as Chairman of the Companys Executive Committee. He previously served as Independent Chairman of the Board. He graduated in Law. He began career at Sip SpA in their Personnel department and in 1989 he assumed the position of Personnel Director for the Group. From December 1992 to May 1994 he served as Managing Director of Iritel SpA. From 1994 to 1997 he was General Manager of Telecom Italia where he was responsible for the International Business Customer and Residential Customer Divisions. In 1997 he was appointed as Managing Director of STET. From 1997 he assumed the role CEO of Telecom Italia. From 1999 to 2002 he was CEO of the multiutility company ACEGAS SpA. Since November 2002 he was Head of the Hera Group and as Chairman he managed the Company initial public offering process which began in June 2003. since 2005.
