Mr. Arthur L. Havener, Jr. is an Independent Director of Life Storage, Inc. Mr. Havener served on the board of directors of MDC North American Real Estate Fund I, a private real estate equity fund. Mr. Havener also serves as Lead Trustee of Boardwalk REIT, a Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Effective March 1, 2019, Mr. Havener was elected to the board of directors of Nobility Homes, Inc., a builder and retailer of manufactured homes in the state of Florida. Mr. Havener also has previously served as an Alderman and Chair of the Finance Committee in the municipality of Sunset Hills, Missouri. As a result of Mr. Haveners experience, he brings to the Board significant experience in real estate investment, corporate governance, private equity, capital markets, and REIT strategy. since 2015.
