Mr. Matteo Colaninno is NonExecutive Deputy Chairman of the Board of Piaggio C. S.p.A. since 2004. He has a degree in Economics Commerce from Verona University. He was a member of the Italian Parliament since 2008. He has served as shadow minister for Economic Growth for the PD, and as head of Economic Policies in the PD National Secretariat. He has served as national Chairman of Confindustria Young Entrepreneurs, as director of Il Sole 24 Ore and Deputy Chairman of Confindustria. He has also worked as Deputy Chairman of the European Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs. He began his career in 1996 at the Sogefi Group and acquired significant professional experience as a member of the team that conducted the Olivetti public tender offer for Telecom Italia. In 1999 he began working as an entrepreneur, handling the industrial and financial operations of the family holding, Omniaholding, of which he is Deputy Chairman and CEO. He is also a director of Immsi and Omniainvest. From 2001 to 2008 he was Deputy Chairman of Banca Popolare di Mantova. since 2004.

PIAGGIO C Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the PIAGGIO C's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: PIAGGIO C inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of PIAGGIO. The board's role is to monitor PIAGGIO C's management team and ensure that shareholders' interests are well served. PIAGGIO C's inside directors are responsible for reviewing and approving budgets prepared by upper management to implement core corporate initiatives and projects.
