Sullivan received his B.S. degree in Business Administration from Miami University . He joined RPM as a Divisional Sales Manager in 1961 and was elected Vice President in 1967. He became Executive Vice President in 1969 and in 1971 Thomas C. Sullivan was elected Chairman of the Board. He also served as President from 1970 to 1978 and Chief Executive Officer from 1971 to 2002. In October 2008 Thomas C. Sullivan retired after 37 years of serving as Chairman and now serves on the Board of Directors as Chairman Emeritus. From 1998 until May 2010 Thomas C. Sullivan was a director of Kaydon Corporation and from 1984 until 2007 Thomas C. Sullivan was a director of Agilysys Inc. Thomas C. Sullivan should serve as a Director because of his prior service as the Companys Chairman and Chief Executive Officer his intimate knowledge of the Company and his experience serving as a director of other private and public companies. The Board of Directors believes that Thomas C.
