Ms. Sandy McIntosh is Executive Vice President, People and Culture and Chief Human Resources Officer of the Company. She joined TELUS in 2007 and was championing the growth and development of the TELUS team ever since, transcending traditional HR accountabilities and challenging the status quo. She is focused on advancing TELUS business priorities, including human capital development, organizational effectiveness, transformational cultural change, labour relations, total rewards strategy and talent acquisition. She is a trusted advisor to the TELUS leadership team, creating programs that have strengthened the TELUS brand and helped drive the best team member engagement level in the world. She has also contributed to TELUS being recognized as one of Canadas Top 100 Employers by Mediacorp for seven consecutive years. As a strong champion for TELUS commitment to give where we live, Sandy is passionate about her community, and serves as Vicechair of the TELUS Toronto Community Board. She also serves as Honorary Chair of the Princess Margaret Hospital OneWalk to Conquer Cancer. Dedicated to developing people, Sandy has committed much of her time as a mentor. She was recognized for her outstanding professional achievements with a Canadas Most Powerful Women Top 100 Award from the Womens Executive Network for two years in a row and a Leadership Excellence Award in the Trailblazer category from Women in Communications and Technology. Sandy holds both an Executive MBA and a Masters in Industrial Relations from Queens University, and graduated with honours from Carleton University in Public Administration. In addition, she is an alumnus of one of Canadas leading executive programs, the Judy Project, with the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
