Mr. James A. Burke is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company since October 3, 2016. Prior to joining the Company, he served as Executive Vice President of Energy Future Holdings Corporationration since February 2013 and President and Chief Executive of TXU Energy, a subsidiary of the Company, since August 2005. Previously, Mr. Burke was Senior Vice President Consumer Markets of TXU Energy. Mr. Burke started his career with Deloitte Consulting, and held a variety of roles with The CocaCola Company, Reliant Energy and Gexa Energy prior to TXU Energy. Mr. Burke also serves as the Chairman of the board of directors of Marucci Sports, a privately held business, as a board member of United Way Foundation of Metropolitan Dallas and as an advisory board member for the Tulane University Energy Institute. Mr. Burke is a graduate of Tulane University, earning a bachelors degree in economics and a masters of business administration in finance and general management since 2020.
