Ms. Joan M. LammTennant, Ph.D. is an Independent Director of the Company. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Blue Marble Microinsurance, a corporation formed by a consortium of eight insurance entities for the purpose of developing service ventures enabling the insurers to enter the microinsurance market. Previously, Ms. LammTennant was the Global Chief Economist and Risk Strategist of Guy Carpenter Company, LLC, the reinsurance and risk advisory operating company of Marsh McLennan Companies. Prior to joining Guy Carpenter in 2007, Ms. LammTennant was the founding President of General Reinsurance Capital Consultants. She is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and held the Laurence and Susan Hirsch Chair in International Business. She currently serves on the Board of Hamilton Insurance Group and Element Fleet Management Corporationration as well as the International Insurance Society. Ms. LammTennant served on the Board of Selective Insurance Group from 1994 to 2015 and Ivans from 2001 to 2013 since 2018.
