Mr. Luca Bertelli serves as Chief Exploration Officer at Eni S.p.A. since July 1, 2014. In 1984 he became part of Eni geophysics division where he worked first as a researcher for the development of 3D simulation prospecting technologies and then Manager of 3D seismic prospecting programs, specializing also in seismicstratigraphy. In 1994 he became Manager of seismicstratigraphic applications. In 1999 he expanded the technicalmanagerial sphere of the activity becoming Eni Geological and Geophysical Services Manager. At the end of 2001 his professional growth continued with an international career path that led him to cover increasingly complex roles from a managerial point of view over eight years, starting with that of Technical Director and Deputy Managing Director at the Norsk Agip in Norway. In 2003 he was appointed Managing Director of Eni Indonesia and in 2006 he moved to Egypt as General Manager and Managing Director, a position he also holds for Eni Angola in 2007. In 2009 he returned to Eni where he took up the position of Senior Vice President Global Exploration. At the beginning of 2010 he was appointed Executive Vice President Exploration and Unconventional. Graduated in Geology in 1983 at the University of Florence with honors and honors. since 2014.
