Mr. Carson Wen is Independent Director of Phoenix New Media Ltd. Mr. Wen is a partner at Jones Day LLP, and has more than 30 years of experience in business, corporate and securities law. He is a representative of the National Peoples Congress of the PRC, and vice chairman of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong. Mr. Wen is a Justice of the Peace of Hong Kong and was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star by the Hong Kong government for his contribution to economic ties between Hong Kong, the PRC and the rest of the world. He was a guest professor of the Law School of Sun YatSen University in Guangzhou, China, a founding and Executive Committee member of the China MA Association and sits on the board of numerous organizations, including the China Africa Business Council, the Pacific Basin Economic Council and the Hong Kong Professional Consultants Association since 2011.
