Mr. Dennis E. Nixon is Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of International Bank of Commerce, a subsidiary of the company. He has served as the Companys chairman and president since 1979. Prior thereto, he served IBC as its chief executive officer since 1975, and as president of IBC during that same period. With over 43 years of experience working in the banking industry in Texas and serving as our chief executive officer for most of that time, Mr. Nixons outstanding leadership skills and a deep understanding of the local banking market and issues facing the banking industry, as well as his knowledge of the communities we serve, has led the Board to conclude that Mr. Nixon should continue serving on our Board. since 1992.

Elected by the shareholders, the International Bancshares' board of directors comprises two types of representatives: International Bancshares inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of International.
