Mr. Robert B. Evans is an Independent Director of One Gas, Inc. Mr. Evans was President and Chief Executive Officer of Duke Energy Americas, a business unit of Duke Energy Corporationration from January 2004 until his retirement in March 2006. He served as the transition executive for Energy Services, a business unit of Duke Energy, during 2003. Mr. Evans was president of Duke Energy Gas Transmission, a business unit of Duke Energy, beginning in 1998 until he was named President and Chief Executive Officer in 2002, a position in which he served until 2004. Prior to his employment at Duke Energy, Mr. Evans served as Vice President of Marketing and Regulatory Affairs for Texas Eastern Transmission and Algonquin Gas Transmission from 1996 to 1998. On March 1, 2016, Mr. Evans was elected to the board of Targa Resources Corporationration and appointed Chairman of the Risk Management Committee and as a member of its Compensation Committee. Mr. Evans has served as a director of Targa Resources GP LLC, a subsidiary of Targa Resources Corporationration and the general partner of Targa Resources Partners, LP since 2007. Mr. Evans was on the Board of Directors of New Jersey Resources Corporationration since 2009 and currently serves as a member of its Audit Committee and Executive Committee. Mr. Evans is also a member of the Board of Directors of Sprague Resources, LP and currently serves as a member of its Audit Committee and Chair of its Conflicts Committee. since 2014.
