Ms. Petrena Ferguson is Senior Vice President Human Resources of the company. Petrena serves as Ribbons Senior Vice President of Human Resources where she is responsible for leading the companys global workforce strategies. Prior to the merger of GENBAND and Sonus, Petrena served as Vice President of Human Resources for GENBAND for 8 years. In this role she was responsible for working closely with the senior leadership team to align Human Resources strategy and support with the organizations global business and gotomarket objectives. Petrena has more than 20 years of Human Resources leadership experience in the telecommunications and Information Technology industries, specializing in the areas of Talent and Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and mergers acquisitions. She came to GENBAND as part of the companys Nortel Carrier Voice and Application Server business acquisition, and previously worked with Newbridge and other startup organizations. Petrena was recognized with several awards including the Spirit of GENBAND for her leadership role in the GENBANDNortel integration. She holds an Honors degree in Social Science from the University of Western Ontario. since 2018.
